Refresh and Protect Your Pavers

Paver Sealing — Surf & Shine

Paver Sealing for Florida Homes & Businesses

Florida sun, rain, irrigation, and everyday traffic leave pavers looking faded, stained, and worn. Surf & Shine cleans and seals pavers on driveways, patios, pool decks, walkways, and outdoor living areas across Brevard and Indian River Counties. We use a professional water-based paver sealer that refreshes the color, helps protect the surface, and makes routine maintenance easier.

Benefits of Paver Sealing

Professional paver sealing can help:

  • Restore and enhance faded color
  • Make routine cleaning easier
  • Reduce the absorption of dirt, water, and oil
  • Improve the appearance of your property
  • Protect against Florida sun, rain, and everyday wear

Our water-based sealer leaves a clean, refreshed finish without the strong odor that comes with solvent-based products.

Our Paver Sealing Process

1
Inspection
We inspect the condition of the pavers, any existing coating, the staining, and the joint sand.
2
Professional Cleaning
The surface is cleaned thoroughly to remove dirt, algae, mildew, and buildup.
3
Joint Sand
If the joints need more sand, we include it in the estimate and add it before sealing.
4
Sealer Application
Once the surface is prepared and dry, we apply the water-based sealer evenly. You get clear instructions on when people, pets, furniture, and vehicles can return to the area.

Surfaces We Seal

  • Driveways
  • Patios
  • Pool decks
  • Walkways
  • Courtyards
  • Front entrances

Pavers that were sealed before, or that are damaged or heavily stained, may need extra preparation. We go over any additional work with you before service begins.

Paver Sealing FAQs

Do the pavers need to be cleaned first?
Yes. Proper cleaning and preparation are what produce an even, professional result.
Do you add new joint sand?
We inspect the joints first. If they need more sand, it is listed clearly in your estimate.
Can you seal previously sealed pavers?
Possibly. We inspect the existing coating to determine whether the surface can be resealed or needs additional preparation first.
What happens if rain is forecast?
Pavers need a suitable weather window to seal and cure. We may reschedule if rain or excess moisture would affect the finish.
When is the best time of year to seal pavers?
October through May. Pavers need to dry fully and cure without an afternoon storm interrupting, and the drier months give a reliable weather window. UV exposure is what bleaches the pigment out of concrete pavers in the first place, so sealing sooner rather than later preserves more of the original color.
