Patio & Deck Washing FAQs

Can you clean a composite deck without damaging it?

Yes. We use lower pressure and specific techniques for composite decking (Trex, TimberTech, etc.) to avoid fiber damage or surface erosion.

Will cleaning remove my deck sealant?

Normal cleaning should not affect properly applied sealant. If sealant is already peeling or worn, cleaning may accelerate the process — which means it was already time for a reseal.

Do you clean screened-in lanai areas?

Yes. We clean screened patio enclosures including the deck floor and screen frame. For the screen panels themselves, see our Pool Cage Cleaning service.

Do you clean travertine, composite decking, and wood?

Yes, each with different chemistry. Travertine is calcium-based and etches permanently under acidic cleaners. Composite decking damages at the wrong nozzle angle. Wood needs mildew-specific treatment rather than raw pressure. Screened lanais get both treatments in one visit: the floor pressure washed, the screen panels and aluminum frame soft washed.
